Grades 7-9
Hello, my name is Mrs. Beck and I teach grades 7-9 at Silver Creek. I have taught school for many years, but this will be my third year at Silver Creek 2010-2011 school year. I LOVE teaching and helping students find their talents and make important decisions for the future. There are 3 decisions in life that all students in my class need to consider, the most important is what will you do with Jesus? Will you believe in Him or reject Him? The second decision is what career do you want to choose for life (what does God want you to do)? The third important question is what type of person do you want to be, kind, loving, honest or generous. We will spend the year exploring answers to those 3 questions.
To tell you about myself I will answer the 3 questions above. First I chose Jesus as my Savior when I was 15 years old. Jesus is my best friend and I want to serve Him. The second decision is of course I wanted to be a teacher because God called me to teach. I could have gone to college for many other professions, but I wanted to follow God's leading in my life. Third, I want to have the fruits of the Spirit spoken of in the Bible. God will help me to be kind, loving, long sufferering, patient, and generous, etc.
